Guidelines for Infective Endocarditis
摘要
The management of infective endocarditis (IE) is complex and nuanced with a paucity of high-level evidence to guide clinical decision-making. In this context, guidelines provide a structured review of the evidence alongside expert recommendations to guide the care of patients with this challenging condition. In this chapter, we present the historical context of international guidelines in Europe and the United States, and highlight their important similarities and differences.
