The EPR Debate, the ER Connection, and Completeness
摘要
The year 1935 holds significant importance in the history of quantum mechanics. During this year, Albert Einstein, along with his collaborators Nathan Rosen and Boris Podolsky, published a seminal paper that challenged the completeness of quantum mechanics. Together with Nathan Rosen Einstein wrote a further paper on specific solutions of the field equations in general relativity that will later be named Einstein-Rosen bridges. Bohr will answer in the same year on Einstein objections on completeness. Erwin Schrödinger will correspond with Einstein on the matter and will be inspired to formulate his famous cat paradox. We discuss how some aspects of these events are connected and their relation to the interpretations of quantum mechanics.
