Automating HRV Analysis: RHRVEasy

The previous chapter presented a typical HRV analysis. It involved calculating a series of HRV indices for various time intervals. This analysis relied on loops to process each interval, which repeated the same calculations numerous times. Subsequently, statistical tests were employed to identify differences between the indices calculated for the different time intervals. This repetitive approach is a widespread pattern in HRV analysis. With the development of a tool such as RHRV, the next logical step was to automate these repetitive tasks, streamlining the entire HRV analysis process, including both the calculation of the HRV indices and the statistical analysis. This is the goal of RHRVEasy.
