Faculty Reflections: Supporting Older Adult Simulated Participants in Giving Feedback

In this chapter, we explore ways to support older simulated participants (SPs) when providing feedback. We briefly introduce some general guidelines for effective feedback and then highlight unique perspectives older adult SPs bring (opportunities) as well as some of the difficulties they may face (challenges). These opportunities and challenges can be kept in mind when considering training, logistics, and support for older adult SPs to give feedback.
