Anal Cancers
摘要
Anal cancers, primarily squamous cell carcinomas (SCCs), are increasing in incidence, particularly among HIV-positive individuals. Risk factors include HPV infection, immunosuppression, and certain sexual behaviors. HPV vaccination has potential for prevention. Treatment primarily involves chemoradiotherapy, with surgery reserved for nonresponsive or recurrent cases. Early-stage anal cancers have a good prognosis with appropriate treatment. Monitoring for recurrence is crucial in posttreatment management. Understanding the anatomy, risk factors, and treatment options is essential for effective management of anal cancers.
