CRIA: Instructional Design as a Tool for Developing a MOOC Aimed at Training Brazilian Female Entrepreneurs
摘要
This work presents the qualitative data collection and analysis techniques used to prepare CRIA, a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) for building female creative companies based on the fundamentals of design and the circular and creative economy. Composed of four phases that identify its acronym (Cognizing, Rebuilding, Implementing, and Assessing), CRIA aims to promote female representation in science, technology, and innovation, discussing women's participation in global entrepreneurship. The execution of the MOOC used Instructional Design strategies following the methodology proposed in the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Thus, the following data collection techniques were used: in the Analysis phase, instructional problems, goals, and objectives of the course were identified through semi-structured interviews, semantic panels, and mind maps; in the Design phase, collection of documents was used to outline technological and content requirements, and in the Development phase to outline requirements for products and instructional materials; in the Implementation phase, participant observation was used to identify the positive and negative aspects of the educational proposal; finally, in the evaluation phase, the learning levels of the participating women and the innovative changes in their businesses were verified through semi-structured interviews based on questionnaires and evaluation forms with open-ended questions. The data collected in all phases were analyzed based on Bardin's content analysis technique. The results lead us to believe that the MOOC promoted female entrepreneurship and women's professional qualifications, offering support to the needs and problems linked to the responsibilities of women entrepreneurs in the Brazilian creative economy sector.
