Assessing the Wall Material for Energy Efficiency and Cost Efficiency in Warm and Humid Climate: A Case Study

The focus on environment friendliness with cost efficiency is increasing in the architecture and construction sector. Realizing this is an important area to study, a commercial building in a warm and humid climate is examined in this study. The aim is to improve energy efficiency in an existing building through suitable wall material selection with minimal cost of construction. The environmental concerns of energy consumption and economic viability are found to have a complex relationship. It is crucial to balance the cost with the suitability of wall materials for energy efficiency.
