Specifics of the Implementation of LMS Systems in Learning Process at Universities

The changes in the educational process of higher education related to distance learning are considered in this work. The features of the use of artificial intelligence in higher education, the specifics of online learning, and its pros and cons are described. A comparative analysis of popular LMS systems such as Moodle LMS 4.3, MTS Link, GetCourse, AntiTreningi, and VZnaniya was carried out. Advantages of these systems have been identified. The positive aspects inherent in a number of such systems include a user-friendly interface and the presence of a large number of functions and features. Based on the analysis, possibilities and prospects of using LMS systems were determined. LMS systems make it possible to manage the process of blended learning: they help manage the educational process, optimize communication processes, and increase the number of opportunities needed when mixing face-to-face and online learning. The problems of introducing LMS systems into the educational process were also considered. As a result of the conducted research, the necessary components of LMS systems have been identified, which are optimal for use in the framework of educational activities of the university. This list includes the key elements that must be present in the LMS system to achieve the effectiveness of the learning process and maximize the impact of its implementation.
