Engineering and Economic Education in Russia After Bologna System and Forced Digitalization

This contribution investigates the system of higher engineering and economic education in Russia, taking into account the exit of the country from the Bologna system and its digitalization. An assessment of the competency-based education model is carried out taking into account professional requirements in areas of training within the enlarged group. Professional competencies and their continuity are analyzed. The opinions of different groups of researchers are given both in favor of the application of the Bologna education system in Russia and against it. An analysis of the structure of the federal state educational standard in the areas of training economics and engineering specialties was carried out. Various approaches to the formation of training profiles in accordance with federal state educational standards of higher education in Russia are considered. Options for transforming higher education in Russia are proposed, taking into account digitalization and the exit from the Bologna system.
