Creation of Unified Space for Digital Transfers and Payments in National Currencies

The contribution investigates the experience of the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in creating their own national digital currency, designed to significantly simplify the system of payments and transfers within the country and abroad, as well as to ensure the conversion of national currency with cryptocurrencies. At the same time, as part of the introduction of digital financial technologies into the structure of the national economic relations, much attention is paid to the creation of a digital form of the national currency. The purpose of the study is to develop a conceptual model of the payment space for carrying out financial transactions in national digital currencies between the member countries of the EAEU. To accomplish the assigned tasks, the following methods were used: deduction and induction, analysis and synthesis, comparison, empirical methods. It is concluded that the EAEU member countries are actively working in the development of digital copies of their national currencies with the expectation that new technological and technical capabilities will contribute to the economic integration of regional entrepreneurship.
