Impact of Technological Innovation on the Digital Transformation of Organizations and Society

The work presents assessment results of prospects for the introduction of technological innovations in the context of modern trends of digital transformation using the example of the Russian business community, as well as their indirect impact on social, psychological, behavioral and economic aspects of an individual’s life in dynamically changing environment. In particular, the authors analyze the potential socio-economic effects of the interaction of business process automation software with generative models such as GPT 3.5-4, digital avatars, remote medicine, as well as psychological effects and phenomena that arise from the implementation of the above digital innovations. Despite the apparent danger and potentially destructive nature of digital innovations, the authors also consider some benefits they can bring because of inevitable structural changes. The analysis of the opinions of supporters and opponents of the spread of digital and technological innovations in commercial, educational, and public spheres of their application is carried out. The relevance of the current study is determined by the need to identify new reserves to improve the efficiency of functioning of business entities, academic and educational structures in the process of digital transformation of the Russian economy. The results of the study may be of interest to managers of business structures, educational and government organizations, teachers of higher educational institutions, researchers, as well as students and other persons interested in this topic.
