Analyze the Backward and Forward Linkages of Intermediate Products Network in a Frontier Market
摘要
This study takes a close look at how different industries in Vietnam are connected to each other, using a method called network analysis and data from Input-Output tables. It aims to figure out which industries are most important in driving the economy and how they’re linked to each other. The findings show that Vietnam relies heavily on basic industries like farming and simple manufacturing. If something big happens to one of these industries, it could have a ripple effect throughout the whole economy. The study also points out specific industries that are closely connected to others, both in terms of buying from and selling to them. It emphasizes the crucial role of basic industries in keeping the economy going. Understanding these connections can help government officials make better decisions about how to manage the economy and deal with challenges like global tensions and new technologies.
