Analysis of the Tensile Strength of PA 2200 Material Depending on the Direction of SLS Additive Technology Printing
摘要
This paper presents results from static tensile tests of ISO 527 standardized samples (type 1BA). The samples were made of PA 2200 material in white powder form using Selective Laser Sintering technology. The tests additionally included measuring the weight of the sample, the surface roughness, and checking the actual dimensions of the samples. The results of this study demonstrated that a number of parameters are impacted by the printing direction. Based on the lowest surface roughness and highest tensile strength as criterion, the printing direction X should be recommended as the most appropriate.
