Metrological Analysis of 3D Scanning Results for Samples with Slight Openings Manufactured by FFF/FDM 3D Printing Technology
摘要
Main focus of the article is place at challenges in 3D scanning for various small openings in flat plane. As manufacture method was chosen fused filament fabrication (FFF/FDM) method. Samples were scanned both in horizontal and vertical position, with a few different angles of scanning. Conducted research point out several interesting dependences and limitations of 3D scanning such as, dependency of the depth of the scanning and angle of the scanner and differences of shape of the holes based on placement of the sample.
