摘要

The subject of this study is to determine the effect of machining on selected properties of specimens made from glycol-doped polyethylene terephthalate (PETG) material. The specimens to be tested were prepared in accordance with ISO527 type 1BA with allowance and fixture holders. Two infills of the specimens were selected for testing: rectilinear and triangles. The specimens were printed using Material Extrusion Technology (MEX) in the X-direction (flat) of the printer. The specimens were then measured and machined. The results of the tensile test show that, in the case of filled triangles, the difference between the average tensile strengths of the reference and machined specimens is about 3.31%, while in the case of rectilinear-filled specimens the difference was about 0.03%.
