摘要

Dysbiosis is an imbalance in the composition and function of the microbiota, commonly associated with the gut but capable of affecting various parts of the body. It has been linked to gynecological conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, cervical disorders, cervical mucus alterations, vaginosis, and menopause. While the prevalence of dysbiosis and its impact may vary, it is evident that there is an interconnection between intestinal and gynecological health: Dysbiosis has been associated with these gynecological conditions, influencing their development and severity. Treatment may include dietary modifications, probiotics, medications, and condition-specific approaches.
