摘要

This study explores the relationship between leadership style and emotional climate in organisations at different life-cycle stages. A survey of eight organisations revealed that leadership style significantly influences the emotional climate. Transformational leadership positively impacts both growing and ageing organisations, while transactional leadership may negatively affect ageing ones. Liberal leadership does not impact ageing organisations but can harm growing ones. The emotional climate influences an organisation’s life cycle, with growing organisations having a more positive climate. However, it does not significantly correlate with an ageing organisation’s life cycle. The study suggests regular assessments of emotional climate to gauge the impact of leadership styles, promoting employee engagement and overall well-being for long-term success.
