Strip-Plot Design
摘要
A strip-plot design is a type of experimental design commonly used in agricultural research and other fields. In a strip-plot design, the experimental area is divided into long strips or rows, with each strip receiving different factor level (treatments). The factor levels are randomized within each strip, but not across the experimental area. This design allows for the simultaneous evaluation of multiple factors (treatments) while accommodating spatial variability within the field. Strip-plot designs typically involve two types of factors: main factors and sub-factors. This allows researchers to study the main effects of the treatments applied to the strips, as well as the interactions between main factors and sub-factors.
