Management of Visual Stress

In this chapter we describe the various coloured filters that are used in the assessment and treatment of patients: how many are needed and why, and what their physical characteristics should be. Other tools that are used in the investigation of visual stress are also briefly described, including adaptations to digital displays (computer screens), coloured lighting, and altering the characteristics of text.
