Hope and Leadership

Hope is something that we as humans deal with on a daily basis. Even the most pessimistic person has many occasions to evaluate in their head whether or not the next year, the next day, or maybe even the next minute is going to be better than the last. Leaders are certainly not immune to the impact of hope on their lives. It is my contention that hope, similar to humility and humor, plays a vital role in the influence, impact, and ultimate success of a leader.
