摘要

This research paper assesses the effectiveness of two-factor authentication tools in Brazil, analyzing over 100 billion transactions in a year. We identify three hypotheses and provide solutions for each: ensuring data reliability in transactions, evaluating transaction security, and authenticating data for user protection. To develop the tests, we utilized various methods, including Universal Verification Methodology with Portable Stimulus Standard through Eclipse, enabling efficient test development. Our scenario comprised 142 tests that allowed us to evaluate the impact of slow connections on double authentication processes. Our experiments revealed that while the number of active chips in Brazil decreased, the download rate increased due to a rise in 5G connections, with a maximum speed increase of 1400% from 120 Mbps to 1.7 Gbps over two years of research. Despite this, there were still blind spots in Brazilian cities and highways that could not be eliminated.
