Concluding Remarks—Building a Strategic Approach to Employment Relations

The world of work is rapidly changing and creating new challenges for employers, workers and their representatives. However, the skills and knowledge which organisations developed to help them to create positive employment relationships, negotiate change and resolve conflict have been fundamentally eroded. This book has aimed to fill this gap. This concluding chapter highlights the key messages we have tried to convey and provides a number of recommendations for practitioners.
