Gender Differences in Graduate Student Experiences

This chapter will move from considering the undergraduate student experience to the graduate student experience. As a part of this, a survey was developed uniquely for graduate students to understand which specific factors are affecting engineers at that level. This chapter provides an overview of the survey and results, as well as qualitatively discusses a workshop that was planned and hosted by the authors that complements the survey findings and suggests mitigation strategies for some of the issues.
