Scattering of Electromagnetic Waves on Systems of Coupled Dielectric Resonators in Open Space

This chapter develops a general approach to solving scattering problems on resonant structures, which we also define through the expansion of solutions into coupled natural oscillations of a system of resonators. We first consider plane wave scattering; in the final part—solving problems of wave scattering of transmission lines “connected” to a lattice of resonators in open space. Solving these problems makes it possible to discover a number of interesting effects of wave propagation in various square DR lattices. The features of scattering on lattices of rotating resonators with the main types of magnetic natural oscillations are analyzed.
