Dielectric Resonators in Open Space

Dielectric resonators are open structures, they always radiate part of the electromagnetic energy into the surrounding space. This serves as an objective prerequisite for using them as antenna elements. Antennas built on the basis of DR, along with the formation of radiation patterns, can combine the functions of input filters. To calculate the characteristics of antennas on DR, you must be able to calculate their fields and coupling coefficients with open space.
