Scattering of Electromagnetic Pulses on Systems of Coupled Dielectric Resonators

Based on perturbation theory, the scattering of electromagnetic pulses by DR systems is being studied. Using a number of assumptions about the pulse parameters, a system of differential equations is derived for the amplitudes of coupled oscillations in the time domain. Various special cases of solving the resulting system of equations are given, which coincide with previously obtained results. The scattering of pulses with different envelopes on DR systems located in a regular and also a section of an evanescent waveguide is considered. The patterns of changes in pulse envelopes during scattering by optical filters and DR lattices in open space, as well as the patterns of pulse generation by antenna structures made on the basis of DR are studied.
