摘要

In the present investigation, we studied a two-warehouse inventory model which incorporates a portion of imperfect items and variable discounts. We also utilized the particle swarm optimization (PSO) technique. The primary aim of the research is to optimize the lot size in order to maximize profitability. Initially, a two-warehouse model was examined, incorporating damaged materials, under the assumption that the inventory cost for a rental warehouse (RW) is higher than that of an owned warehouse (OW). Variable discounts are applied to things that are not flawless. The current model has been examined to optimize the sample size in order to maximize profit by considering different inventory strategies. The Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm is employed to acquire the most optimal solution. Additionally, a graphical representation was included to assess the outcomes achieved through the implementation of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and to demonstrate the impact of the parameters employed in this study.
