Previous chapters of this book explained the different vegan alternatives for leather and what kinds of challenges exist in the market—from technical and geographical to commercialization. In the current chapter, a product-type assessment is conducted to provide further insight into vegan leather materials, how they are used, their performance regarding sustainability, and their various applications.
