摘要
The archeological site of the city of Santa Maria de la Antigua del Darién is located in Colombia, within the municipality of Unguía, in the Chocó Department, on the western coast of the Gulf of Urabá. In 1510, Santa Maria de la Antigua del Darién was the first Spanish city to be founded on the American mainland. A multidisciplinary community archeology project supported by remote sensing and geophysical prospecting has been underway since 2013. Here the preliminary results are presented, also focusing attention on their social consequences.
