Hematological cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, and plasma cell neoplasms may secondarily invade the skin. We discuss the pathophysiology of dermotropism in systemic malignancies, focusing on conditions like leukemia cutis and lymphoma-associated skin infiltrates. The classification of these secondary skin malignancies is addressed in the context of their systemic counterparts, aiding in diagnosis and staging. We emphasize the diagnostic role of histopathology and imaging. Therapeutic approaches are tailored to the underlying systemic malignancy, with a focus on collaboration between dermatology and oncology to optimize patient outcomes.
