A Multidisciplinary Approach to Developing Thyroid RFA Practice

A multidisciplinary approach to patient care has become a popular means of coordinating treatment among specialists. For thyroid nodular disease, endocrinologists, radiologists, surgeons, and interventional radiologists all contribute to patient management. A coordinated approach among these specialties is outlined here as a means of improving patient care and adoption of thyroid nodule radiofrequency ablation.
