Long-term Management Following RFA: Controlling Regrowth
摘要
The short-term results of thermal ablation (TA) for benign thyroid nodules have shown favorable outcomes. However, concerns regarding regrowth have emerged as studies with follow-up periods longer than 3 years have been conducted. Consequently, the effective control of regrowth has become a crucial issue. This chapter aims to review marginal regrowth, which constitutes the majority of regrowth cases, and explore the factors contributing to it.
