Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is increasingly being utilized as a surgical alternative for the management of large benign symptomatic thyroid nodules and autonomously functioning thyroid nodules. In recent years, numerous significant studies and practical guidelines from various professional societies have been published, focusing on thyroid RFA. This chapter provides an overview of the clinical effects of RFA for benign thyroid nodules based on the current literature.
