Postprocedural Care and Follow-Up for Thyroid RFA
摘要
Thyroid radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is an outpatient treatment addressing thyroid nodules. Post-procedure, patients undergo short-term monitoring and receive guidance on potential symptoms and care measures. Follow-up focuses on evaluating treatment success, changes in nodule volume, and patient symptom relief. Depending on the type of thyroid nodule, varied monitoring protocols, informed by both institutional and societal guidelines, are implemented. Continuous, long-term patient tracking is crucial due to the potential for nodule regrowth post-ablation.
