Conclusion

Ettore Perozzi, the only one in our family who dedicated himself to the study of the stars and planets observes: “There is a parallel between the ‘life’ of an asteroid and that of Renato. An asteroid may remain in orbit for much of its life, hundreds of millions of years between Mars and Jupiter and then suddenly show signs of instability. Its orbit then begins to wobble fearfully, and within a short time (astronomically speaking) its eccentricity will bring it to intersect the orbits of Mars, Venus, Earth, up until the inevitable epilogue: crashing onto their surfaces or ending up straight in the sun, melting in its immense furnace.”
