The era of artificial Intelligence is overpowered by various advancements in algorithmic, machine learning that have the potential to advance several industries such as healthcare, agriculture, education, manufacturing, retail, and so on. AI in healthcare is the need of the hour as it can bridge the gap between the demand for healthcare services and the supply of the same due to the lack of health manpower. The crucial factor in deciding whether to invest in artificial intelligence (AI) in the healthcare sector depends on the GDP of the country since it requires huge investments. This study discusses selected advanced and emerging economies’ investments in AI in healthcare and whether their GDP played a crucial role in the decision. This study is based on secondary data gathered from different published reports. This paper focuses on analyzing the worldwide AI-health investment and GDP trends of countries across the globe in the past 10 years using trend analysis. Further, a correlation test is done between AI in healthcare and the GDP of selected countries, the result shows that both the variables are strongly positively correlated. A multiple correlation analysis is done to measure the relationship between the GDP and Investment in AI in healthcare of the selected countries. Artificial intelligence (AI) has become a revolutionary force in the global economy, with investments in AI technology and applications increasing significantly in both developed and developing nations. With the growing significance of developing nations, these countries are projected to play an important part in the AI revolution. AI investment has increased rapidly in emerging economies such as India, Brazil, and South Africa during the last decade. Artificial intelligence can significantly improve the state of healthcare around the world as healthcare solution providers look to boost output and efficiency. The result of the multiple regression depicts that the GDP plays a vital role in investment in AI healthcare. Investment in human-AI collaboration in the healthcare sector will help countries mitigate the shortage of health manpower and improve in providing timely healthcare services.
