Biogas Quality Monitoring and Indication System
摘要
Ever-increasing demand for energy requirements has led to the need to find unconventional sources of energy like solar energy, wind energy, tidal energy, atomic energy, biogas, etc. Biogas is one of the most common sources of energy. It is produced through the anaerobic digestion of biological waste materials like agriculture waste, food waste, sewage sludge, and energy crops. Biogas is a mixture of methane (CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ammonia (NH3), water vapor (H2O), etc. Anaerobic digestion is a process in which the bacteria breaks down the complex organic materials, producing biogas and fertilizer as by-products. Biogas has versatile applications as a renewable energy resource, serving as a fuel for biogas stoves and providing hot water when used in boilers. Additionally, biogas offers environmental advantages, as the organic materials used in its production are disposable, making it a sustainable energy source. Furthermore, biogas contributes to the mitigation of methane gas emissions, a significant factor in global warming. In this work, we are trying to measure the amount of various gasses present in biogas and with the help of the proportion of gas in Biogas, we will calculate the quality of it.
