Legal Liability Arising from Information Crimes in UAE Law

The research addressed the nature of computer crimes and their characteristics, followed by the legal classification of computer crimes and the division according to the UAE legislator. Finally, it examined the provisions of civil liability arising from computer crimes. The study concluded with several findings and recommendations, including: The UAE legislator, by keeping up with the continuous developments in computer crimes, has spared us the effort of researching many aspects of civil liability. The establishment of a specialized court to enforce information technology laws, equipped with legal authority and technical knowledge on how to deal with these laws and implement them in practice.
