Ecotourism Empowerment and Sustainable Tourism
摘要
Ecotourism is a type of long-distance travel that promotes conservation, benefits residents, and provides tourism participants with unique knowledge about the local environment. Although some tourism researchers have used the MOA model to study factors influencing public participation, there is still a large body of literature that can provide the empirical data needed to validate the predictions of the MOA model for measuring public participation in tourism. The research approach uses a qualitative approach. There was one participant whose information the researchers studied, namely the Chair of the Pokdarwis of Keranggan Tourism Village. The main strength of the MOA model is that it can be applied to destinations with the aim of enabling or facilitating community participation. The MOA model, existing theoretical frameworks in the field of tourism, and a desire to understand and document the factors that influence inclusive engagement in local communities inspired this paper. The aim of this research is Investigate how the MOA model can facilitate collaboration between various stakeholders involved in ecotourism, including local communities, tourism operators, government agencies, and conservation organizations. Assess the role of motivation, opportunities, and capabilities in promoting collaborative efforts for sustainable tourism. This research was conducted in Keranggan Tourism Village. The research results show that community participation in implementing ecotourism in the Keranggan Tourism Village area can grow and increase with the help of stakeholders.
