The Impact of Managerial Innovation in Enhancing Institutional Excellence in Jordanian Private Hospitals

摘要

The study aimed to identify the impact of managerial innovation with dimensions (novelty, adaptability, Prediction) in enhancing institutional excellence (leadership excellence, human excellence, and service excellence) in Jordanian private hospitals. The descriptive analytical approach applied in the recent study to achieve study goals. The study population was private hospital managers in top management and middle level. Comprehensive survey method applied to collect data from (160) managers. The returned questionnaires were (120) for the purposes of statistical analysis, with a response rate of (75%). Findings of this study showed that managerial innovation with dimensions (novelty, adaptability, consistency) have an impact on institutional excellence (leadership excellence, human excellence, and service excellence) in Jordanian private hospitals with R2 was 0.51. The results show that that the prediction dimension of the managerial innovation has the highest impact of the institutional excellence, while the adaptability hasn’t any significant impact on the institutional excellence. Also, the study result show that the level of the managerial innovation and institutional excellence were moderate in the private hospital in Zaraqa directorate. The study recommended for the policy makers in the private hospitals in Jordan to provide great attention on developing the managerial innovation with dimensions (novelty, adaptability, Prediction) in to achieve the institutional excellence.
