Towards a Mobility-Aware Trust Model for the Internet of Underwater Things
摘要
Trust management in the context of the Internet of Underwater Things (IoUT) presents unique challenges due to the distinctive characteristics of underwater communication and the challenging underwater environment. This study addresses trust management challenges in IoUT. We introduce the Mobility-Aware Trust Model for IoUT (MATMU), which incorporates mobility metrics to assess movement patterns of underwater nodes in trust relationships. The study also identifies potential vulnerabilities in IoUT, emphasizing mobility-related security threats that may elude current trust models. MATMU employs a dynamic weighting strategy for multi-dimensional trust evaluation, enhancing adaptability and capturing the dynamic nature of underwater networks. Simulation results indicate MATMU’s superior accuracy and resilience over existing trust management methods.
