Various Analytical Techniques, Theorems, and Formalisms
摘要
In the first chapter of this book, we explain why we chose Bragg fiber for our studies and developments in the past. These biologically inspired multilayer hollow fibers are found to have a structure that is very similar to that of naturally occurring fruit. The various fabrication techniques available for the experimental construction of such a fiber structure are introduced to the reader in the second chapter. The present chapter continues the investigation by applying theoretical modeling and mathematical analysis to the Bragg fiber structure. It does so by discussing in detail the various analytical methods accessible, as well as relevant theorems and formalism. A comparison of these various approaches to analysis is finally presented.
