Line Management 2040
摘要
Over the course of this book so far, the topic of line management has been discussed with reference to the current workforce and workplace. However, if the beginning of the 2020’s has shown us anything, it is that organisations and line managers have to be ready for the unexpected. The COVID-19 pandemic, the war in the Ukraine, (continued) political turmoil and a cost-of-living crisis affecting many nations, organisations and line managers have had to take a responsive approach to ensure that business operations, productivityproductivity and the health and wellbeing of staff remain optimal. It now seems more important than ever to try and learn from these events and look at potential workforce and workplace trends that could influence the ‘type’ of line managers organisations may want in the future, the skills and capabilities they will need to have and what workplace challenges they could be navigating.
