Kummer Hypergeometric Function

Kummer hypergeometric function \({ }_{1}F_{1}\) and its special cases (error function, incomplete gamma function etc.) are useful in many problems. Its properties can be deduced from the general properties of hypergeometric functions (Chap. 3 ), but also from the properties of Gauss hypergeometric function \({ }_{2}F_{1}\) by confluence.
