Weighted Polynomials

The chapter deals with weighted polynomials when the degree of the polynomial appear in the weight function as an exponent. New types of behaviour is established that are fundamentally different from classical behaviour, most notably the norm of such polynomials is taken on a fixed compact set, namely on the support of the corresponding extremal measure. The analogues of classical extremal points of Fekete and Leja are also discussed.
