Oscillations at Reactors and Accelerators

On Earth, intense sources of neutrino beams can be produced by man in nuclear power plants and accelerators. A neutrino oscillation experiment analyses the neutrino beam at a near site downstream of beam production, and make additional measurements at a far site placed at a distance; the baseline represents the distance L between these two sites.
