Global Symmetries

摘要

Neutrinos are studied in the formalism of quantum field theory, which assembles special relativity and quantum mechanics. Quantum field theory is the framework in which the theories of the electroweak and strong interactions, which together form the Standard Model of particle physics, are formulated. At the basis of quantum field theories and their development there is the concept of symmetry. The term symmetry without qualification generally refers to global symmetry. The parameters of global symmetry transformations are constants independent of spatio-temporal positions.
