摘要

This chapter explicates the concept of Teacher-Student-Collaborative Assessment (TSCA) within the framework of the Assessment-Being-Learning Hypothesis (ABLH). This chapter emphasises that assessment and learning are intrinsically linked, revisiting concepts such as assessment of learning, assessment for learning, and assessment as learning. It highlights strategies for enhancing learning through targeted remediation, deliberate review, and timely extension, collectively termed “triple learning”. The chapter introduces TSCA as a Delayed Formative Assessment (DFA) strategy, contrasting it with Instant Formative Assessment (IFA). The implementation of TSCA is explained through a three-stage model detailing the roles and tasks of teachers and students before, during, and after lessons. Effective TSCA criteria are outlined, including concrete guidance, availability of typical samples, objective-oriented focuses, and integration of learning progressions and focused linguistic feedback. Challenges in implementing TSCA, such as the need for a mindset shift among teachers and students and the adoption of new assessment strategies, are discussed. The chapter concludes with practical solutions to these challenges, combining theoretical principles with strategic planning to streamline TSCA implementation. This comprehensive exploration underscores the importance of integrating assessment with learning and provides a pragmatic framework for fostering a collaborative learning environment to enhance educational outcomes.
