Philanthropy in Clean Water Deals

In the summer of 2019, I was looking for partners and prospects to create vehicles to deploy The Giving PledgeThe Giving Pledge commitments. Some of the people I reached out to were retired private equityPrivate equity professionals I knew who had great skills as well as the funds to underwrite our first philanthropic deals. I spoke to several very successful pros who were still active institutional investors and some who had already retired. One was in the process of retiring and still in his mid-50 s.
