The problems presented in this chapter mainly concern the classical approach to thin film optics, they basically stem from homeworks, exercises, and examinations from the Thin Film Optics master course held from 2009 to 2024 at Abbe School of PhotonicsAbbe School of Photonics, Friedrich Schiller University, Jena, Germany. All tasks are presented with detailed solutions and additional explanations. I beg the pardon of my possible successor(s) for that.
